Walking plays a central part to my own growth - whether it’s been shorter day trips while staying at a retreat centre, or multi-day hikes carrying all my food and camping gear in New Zealand. It allows me to come into greater connection with my body, emotions and with life, offering time for reflection. Everyday worries fade into the background the longer I am away and immersed in nature, and I return home with more clarity and groundedness.
This year I would like to share this experience with you, with 5.5 days walking and camping in a truly magical part of the country - starting in Chepstow and ending in the charming Hay-on-Wye.
My partner - also an experienced walker and retreat leader - will be providing support in the background by shuttling tents, food and the like between campsites. We can then walk with lighter day-packs.
