Meet your coach
Hi I'm Aryanisha.
It sounds like Aah-ree-ah-neesha and means "She whose dream is of the Nobles Ones" in Pali. This is my Buddhist name, given to me at Ordination in 2021 after seven years training.
I'm a leadership and life coach, creator of Rituals
for the Dead, puppy mum and #vanlifer.
After studying Politics, Psychology and Sociology at Cambridge University, I was feeling lost and burnt-out. While my degree taught me a lot about people, it didn't teach me the how of adulting, especially through grief, loss and dissatisfaction. I could use my bright mind. I didn't yet know how to listen to my heart and body.
I discovered Buddhism and meditation a few months later. It's given me so many tools: Reflection. Perspective. Mindfulness. Nature-connection. Ritual. Journalling. Breathwork. Solitude.
For 15 years, these have all supported me to write different chapters of my own life and navigate a challenging career across social and environmental impact.
Then, in February 2025, My Dad died six months after being diagnosed with cancer. It was unbelievably hard and I had to draw on my training every day just to get out of bed. I've been on my own journey to understand how I've changed, what matters to me now and what's needed to shift in my relationships, down-time and work.
Now I want to share what's helped me through grief, loss and dissatisfaction in straight-forward, practical language and exercises. Whether you've experienced something tangible like a bereavement, betrayal or breakup, or you've lost your spark gradually; this is for you. Welcome. You belong here.

If you're generally a positive, solution-focused person but lately have feeling stuck in life or work, Rituals for the Dead is for you.
Looking back you've lost something or someone important — whether that's a bereavement, relationship ending, job change, or something subtler like lost confidence, playfulness, creativity, or freedom.
You might not identify as grieving, but you sense something has shifted and you're ready to acknowledge it rather than push through.
If you're ready to turn what you've lost into wisdom, courage and energy for your next chapter, this course is for you.
The course is rooted in Depth Work: You'll learn how to work with your emotions, instead of suppressing or getting stuck in them.
Frustration. Fatigue. Sadness. Anger. Boredom. Guilt. These can all be turned into fuel for the next chapter of life.
But only if you can turn towards them with patience, kindness and curiosity.
Discover what they have to teach you about what matters now and how you need to shape life and work differently.
Not all all. While the course is influenced and inspired by my Buddhist practice, everything is translated into jargon-free language.
Depends on what you mean by that I guess!
Will I be asking you to hug trees? Not if you don't want to.
Do you need to believe in anything divine or magical about the universe? No.
Ritual isn't even particularly woo or spiritual, if you read that section below. It doesn't matter if you see yourself this way or not, you can still engage fully with the materials.
I've designed this to be flexible.
Dip in or immerse yourself.
If you watch all three videos and complete the reflection exercise, ritual practice and guided meditation, the content would take a minimum of 1 hour each month. Plus faffing about time at the beginning and end of each.
You can use them multiple times or try out the extended versions. I can even imagine you having a day retreat at home or taking them away with you for a break.
I've intentionally designed this for busy people.
I used to have very full on jobs with hour long commutes each way, plus classes in the evening.
The videos are delivered in bite-sized 10 minute lessons . You can listen to them before bed, during a quick break or on public transport.
You could dip into the exercises in between chores at the weekend or the beginning/end of the day.
It's not theory heavy or onerous.
That's fine. You don't need to have any experience or have enjoyed it in the past.
The 10 minute guided sessions are simple and I'll help your busy mind to settle easily.
I have ADHD so I know how chatty your thoughts can be.
Nothing is compulsory, either, but most people find them useful.
For a start it's nothing fancy or woo. Weddings are rituals. So are funerals. What about making a wish and blowing out a candle on a birthday cake?
I'm taking ritual to be an action or series of actions that we consider meaningful or symbolic in a way that has an impact on our lives.
From lighting a candle for someone or something you've lost; to burying a special stone you've found at the bottom of a tree, marking the hardness you want to release from your heart.
These are a couple of examples from the course. I'm inviting you to try them out with a curious, even playful, attitude.
You do indeedy. I'll give you login details to an online dashboard.

Your services were so much more than I was expecting. I really feel like I have an ally: someone who is looking out for me as a whole person, wants me to be the best and happiest me, and approaches helping me in that way.
I’ve been very self-critical, paralyzed in anxiety and experiencing imposter syndrome for a few years. When there
are moments of anxiety & stress, [I'm] trusting that I can deal with it better than I used to. It’s not so consuming.
The past few months for me have been really transformational. I am kinder towards myself and others. I am less afraid of having time to myself. I am finding more spaciousness in my interaction with my parents.
